Privacy Policy

        In short: Pink Widgets keeps your data on your device. We don’t run servers, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t track you across apps or websites.
      

This Privacy Policy describes how Pink Widgets (“the App”), developed by Mert Selvi (“we”, “us”, or “our”), handles information when you use our iOS application and Home Screen widgets.

1. Information We Collect

Pink Widgets is designed to work entirely on your iPhone or iPad. We do not require an account, and we do not collect personal information on our own servers — because we don’t operate any.

The following information is stored locally on your device only, so the App and its widgets can function:

Widget customization — colors, fonts, backgrounds, frames, and styles you choose
Text you enter — quotes, affirmations, manifestation text, gratitude notes, countdown titles, love initials, and similar content
Countdown dates — dates you set for countdown widgets
Cycle tracker data — cycle length, period length, and last period date (if you use the Cycle Tracker widget)
Photos you select — images you choose for Photo Memories widgets, saved in the App’s shared container on your device
App preferences — settings such as haptics and daily reminder preferences

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above solely to:

Display and update your Home Screen widgets
Remember your customization choices between app launches
Share data between the main app and the widget extension via Apple’s App Group (group.com.mms.PinkWidgets)
Send optional local reminders if you enable Daily Reminder in Settings

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or analytics.

3. Photos & Permissions

If you add photos to a widget, the App will ask for permission to access your photo library through iOS. We only access photos you explicitly select. Selected images are copied and stored locally for widget display. We do not upload your photos anywhere.

4. Notifications

If you turn on Daily Reminder, the App may request permission to send local notifications on your device. These notifications are scheduled on your device only and are not sent through our servers. You can disable them at any time in the App or in iOS Settings.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your widget content and settings remain on your device unless you choose to share them yourself (for example, by taking a screenshot).

The App may use standard Apple frameworks (such as WidgetKit, StoreKit for in-app review prompts, and system photo pickers). Those services are governed by Apple’s privacy policies.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

All App data is stored on your device. If you delete the App, your widget data, photos saved for widgets, and preferences stored in the App’s container are generally removed with the App, subject to how iOS handles app deletion and backups.

7. Children’s Privacy

Pink Widgets is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will help address your concern.

8. Security

Because your data stays on your device, it is protected by your device’s security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and iOS sandboxing). We recommend keeping your device software up to date.

9. International Users

Pink Widgets is available worldwide. Since data is processed locally on your device, it is not transferred to us or stored on external servers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
